HOLD EXPORT | DO NOT TRANSMIT | QUIZ

Oasis files that populate the Oasis File Build are determined by M0150 within the Oasis.  If 1 - Medicare (traditional fee-for-service), 2 - Medicare (HMO/managed care/Advantage plan), 3 - Medicaid (traditional fee-for-service) or 4 - Medicaid (HMO/managed care), they will appear in the Oasis File Build to be exported. Other than that, they will not be. In order to export your Oasis files, click on

  1. Processes
  2. Oasis File Build

This opens up the Oasis File Transmission Build Screen. From here, if you click on the magnifying glass <icon-magnify>xxx<icon-magnify> icon to the right of your agency, this will reveal the records that are to be exported.

HOLD EXPORT <returntomenu>menu ↑<returntomenu>

You can choose the files that you want to hold (prevent) from being exported by clicking the check box to the left of the file and  <btnw>    Save   <btnw>. Only the records that are not on hold will be exported.

Once you have reviewed this, then you can close the view by clicking on the red "x" if you do not want to place any records on hold.

To export the files, click on the address book <icon-report>xxx<icon-report> icon to the right of the agency that you are wanting to export.

DO NOT TRANSMIT <returntomenu>menu ↑<returntomenu>

If you decide that you do not want to export this oasis (maybe you exported it in another system), then you can prevent it from showing up in the Oasis File Build to be exported by clicking on the drop down <icon-action>xxx<icon-action> icon to the right of the oasis and choosing the option to <icon-negative>xxx<icon-negative> <udl-orange>Do not transmit<udl-orange>.  To do this you must be on the Patients > Patient Encounters > Choose Patient > orders tab.

You are done with exporting your oasis.  Please give the system around 4 hours before you look for your Validation File to be able to post to the Encounters.  Click here to learn more about the Oasis Validation Post
