Unable To Move My Resumption of Care Visit

When you enter a Resumption of Care order that creates the assessment visit, you cannot move the visit to a different date on the Scheduling calendars. If the date is wrong, you will need to cancel the service and correct the Resumption of Care interim order so that it reflects the date that this assessment visit is to be provided. If you are not able to correct the Resumption of Care order, you will need to delete the order and create a new Resumption of Care order with the correct date for the assessment visit.  To cancel the scheduled service, use the following path:

  • Patients menu
  • Patient Schedules
  • Find/Select the patient (you may have to change the status filter for the patient to display)
  • Select the Service on the calendar you want to cancel
  • Select the Cancel link on the pop-up
  • Select a reason from the Resolution dropdown list
  • Change Resolution date if necessary or leave the default date
  • Select the Confirm Cancel button

To edit/remove the existing Resumption of Care interim order or create a new one, use the following path:

  • Patients menu
  • Patient Encounters option
  • Find/Select a patient
  • Select the Orders tab
  • Select the “Edit Interim Order” icon for the Resumption of Care order
  • Change the discipline frequency/duration for the assessment visit and save/approve.
